Yule Ball

"Peter Harry Stone, Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes" He managed to say to the lovey young women. "I just transfered my daughter here, possibly in a class of yours, her name's Marie." He said with a slight smile. He was getting a little more accustome to the ball. His eyes were set in, and he looked as if he had not slept in weeks. "Lovely night, it is." He said looking at the bewitched ceiling filled with stars.

[Jack P. Riddle]

Jack smiled as He walked back over to his sister. "So Lizabeth are you having a good time?"

[Katy J. Salmalin]

Katy's face went pale for a moment, before she remembered his last name was Stone. Good, then it wasn't her. "Yes, it's a very pretty night. So are you enjoying the ball?"

[peter]

He gave her a gental smile, "Yes, it is ver pleasent" he said, "You look lovely by the way." He had relized that he never properly complemented her on her lovely gown. He looked at her a bit od, for a moment she looked a bit sickened with the mention of his daughter, then came back to her full color. He was concerned for his daughter, "Have you meet Marie?" He asked in hopes that his fears for her safety would decress.

The Professor of Magical Government, took the Flying teacher out on the floor, and immediatley got the song beat. He placed his hands in hers and on her waist, and once again, it was his 7th year at Hogwarts. They were gracefully taking up the dance floor, moving liek no other group. It was magical.

Pearl had been born into a society where grace and dicipline resided together in the dance class room. It was easy and delightful to dance with this astounding man. Only in the high society had men been this good.

"You are a man of many talents." She told him, sounding impressed as she nodded slightly. "May I commend you for your superb dancing skills?"

[Katy J. Salmalin]

Katy looked down at her skirt when he complimented it, and smiled. "Why thank you, that's very nice of you to say." Then she realized he had looked at her strangely when she had thought of.....recent events. "Yes I have met your daughter, I believe she's in my class. I'm sorry I looked a bit stricken, I was jsut reminded of some things. You see," she explained, "We just recently discovered a murder in the castle. The girl in question's name was Marie-Anna Tomas, so I thought that you may have been referring to her. Of course, I corrected myself in thought." Katy smiled, attempting to show that everything was okay.

Marie saw her father from the corner of her eye, "O, Jean I have to see my dad!" She squeaked gestering to where he was standing. "Daddy!" She smiled and jumped to give him a large hug. THey had not seen each outher since her arrial, "I am in Huffelpuff!" She said with a smile, then relized that he was speaking with a professor, "O, I am so sorry! Hello" she said to the woman, and extended her hand, "I am Marie Garbriel Stone." Her pink hair was sparkeling with the bewitched ceiling. she tuched a piece behind her ear. She knew that her father would come after the horrid news of a murder.

Katy looked at the Hufflepuff girl as she came running over. Judging by the way she spoke, she was Peter's daughter. Then she extended her hand to Katy, and introduced herself. "Hello, it is certainly nice to meet you. I've seen you around schoo, I suppose? Not surprising." Katy shook Marie's hand politely, then turned back to Peter. "I assume this is your daughter you spoke of?"

Kas stopped at the entrance to the 'Yule Ball, She looked around, her eye's getting big as she noticed everyone was dressed to impress. With their long formal dresses, She looked down at her outfit for the night and then up at Rachel, who stood by her side.

"Maybe there is a difference." She said, while casting her eyes back on the formal dresses.

[Lizabeth Riddle]

"nope nothing new and every thing new I'd rather not talk about with alots of people around" Lizabeth replyed to Richard then Jack came back over "yes its been splended but if they dont start dancing soon I'm going hunting" she said looking aruond at all the dilsh necks walking around "what about you Jack having a good time?" she said still looking around at all the girls necks because they were all exposed she licked her lips and instantly came back to reality and then glanced at Richard then Jack.

Peter smiled largely when his daughter cam and gave him a hug, "I completly understand" He answered Katy. He did feel the same when he heard the story, untill they finaly said --Anna Tomas, which seemed like an enternity.
"That is wonderful" He said to Marie noting that she was in huffelpuff. "You mother would be so proud." She said then regreated saying it, because memories started to flood his mind, but he tried to hemain calm, but his eyes started to look red, and he felt the pain of loss again.
"Yes this is my lovely daughter." He managed to give a smile.

[Jack P. Riddle]

Jack laughed at his sister as he pulled out a bottle of fresh blood and took a couple big gulps. "I know what you mean. And yes I'm having a grand old time."

[Katy J. Salmalin]

Katy noticed that Peter's eyes were turning red. "Oh I'm sorry! Was it something I said?" Katy absolutely hated making people unhappy. She was such a peppy and cheerful person on normal terms, but when she got worked up, it was REALLY worked up, and something best avoided.

"oh, not you." He said quickly, he thought for a moment, not wanting to sound like he wanted pity, but knew that words must be spoken eventualy, "I recently lost my wife, that is why we moved here."He said trying to keep his composier. He looked at his daughter hoping that she was still perky, and happy, though with the mention of her mother, she probably was not.

[Lizabeth Riddle]

Lizabeth jaw dropped as he pulled out the bottle she put her puppy dog eyes and fat lip it always worked with every one else it should work with him but she had no clue so she added the hands clenched them together under her chin and blinked a couple thousand times.

[Jack P. Riddle]

Jack laughed at his sister. "Relax don't embarass your self I have more than enough." He tossed her her own bottle of blood and drank more of his.

[Jean Kash]

Jean smiled, "By all means" she gestered as Marie ran off to greet her father. Jean smiled she loved the smile joys in life, and she though of her parents, and how odd this would all be for them, being muggels. She noticed that the Charms professor was standing there as well and being alone again she decided to indrude, and say hello to Marie's father and Professor Salmalin.
"Hello, professor, I am Jean." She smiled she had recently signed up for charms, being new she only reconized the professor from signing up breifly.
"And you must be Mr. Stone, Pleasure to meet you." she shook his hand, she noticed he was a little off and his eyes were blurred, but did not want to press the matter, for Marie also looked a bit upset. "I am in... Ravenclaw." She hesitated remembering what had happened in her very house.

[Katy J. Salmalin]

"Oh, I'm so sorry. It must be very painful for you," Katy said quietly. If she had said the same thing, it would have sounded extremely self-pitying. But when he said it, it didn't. Strange. In any case, Katy was glad she had never gotten married. She would never have that pain. As soon as this thought had finished, another student came up to them, and introduced herself as Jean. "Hello, Jean! I do remember, you signed up for Charms, yes? I think you'll enjoy it, it's always been my favorite subject. Perhaps that's the reason I applied to teach it!"

[Lizabeth Riddle]

Lizabeth smirked catching it "yay it worked o I've done worse for blood" she said she opened the top and looked at Richard for a moment "you want some? I can poor you a glass" she asked quickly being pelite

[Richard "Wolf" Canis]

In his hunting Richard hads always been near blood but he was no vampire and didnt enjoy the taste of it like Lizabeth, to him it was more of a bother. Meat was what he wanted when he hunted. Richard turned to the person that went over to Fenrir. "I dont believe we properly meet. I am Richard Canis." Richard stuck out his hand and stuck the other one in his pocket to pull out some dried meat.

[Magyn Bellus Wandwip]

Magyn smelt blood across the room and pulled jordan with her, she found her way to liuzabeth and jack, "hey guys" she said with a smile.

[Richard "Wolf" Canis]

"I will stick with the punch, thanks though."

[Kevin Lupin Phoenis]

Kevin heard the call, and quickly finished up.

"Uncle Remus, Aunt Tonks, I like you to meet my adopted younger sister, Claire DeLour. Now I got to go, I'm up." he said, hugging his sister with a kiss on her cheek, and a long lip lock with Sarah. He then quickly hugged his relatives and ran up on stage, tapping his dress robes for his set: robes of red, white, and blue, with crossed wands and stars, otherwise known as the Magical American flag. He then tapped the set, which changed into blue drums, with the bass drum cover saying Razorblade Kiss, and a raven, a badger, a lion, a snake, and his own touch, a pegasus, which was currently rearing behind the title, before flying off, allowing another to come on.

"Hey Dove, before we get started, there is one thign I've been meaning to ask. Do any of you guys remember an old hit about 10 or 12 years ago by a group known as the Wierd Sisters? Called "Do the Hippogriff?"?"

[Jack P. Riddle]

Jack turned to richard. "Hello Richard I am Jack Pitch Lizabeths Brother." Jack turned "Hey Magyn"

[Jean Kash]

"Yes I do hope it will be fun. I am excited to start classes after the holidays." She smiled. She was happy that the Professor remembered her. "I hope it is not too difficult." She giggled, knowing that she liked that subject it would be nice to know what to expect. She liked learning new things, loved it actually. The idea of learning new charms thrilled her.

[Dovesary Aemeson]

Dove was glad when Kevin arrived. Then he asked about some strange song, but it wasn't strange to Dove. "Actually, yes. I always did like that one. Sadly though, I don't know the words. I guess if you wanted to do that one, you'd better hope Angel knows it. That is, if he ever gets here. I swear I'm gonna kill him after we play."

[Claire DeLour]

*Claire smiled as Kevin introduced her as his adopted sister. She hoped that her adopted Aunt and Uncle would accept her even though they didn't really know her. Sarah pulled her closer to the group into sort of a group hug and she smiled even more brightly. Kevin left to go play with the band, and Claire got excited! She hadn't heard him play before, and was stoked that he was going to be playing at the Yule Ball. Ben said something and she whispered quietly back to him.*

*She let the last part go unspoken. Aeryn re-entered the Hall a few moments later and walked up to her. Claire smiled encouragingly, knowing that she and Dameon had just talked. She pulled Aeryn over and gave her a hug.*

*She whispered in her ear, then released her from her hug.*

Marie managed a smile at the subject change to classes, "Professor, we need to have partners for the class right? Perhaps Jean and I could partner up." She siad a lot less enthusasticly then before, but adjusting to the change she started to lean on her fater, for a sence of confort. She was 'dady's little girl' and she did not mind it at all.

[Jean Kash]

"O that sounds great to me, I would enjoy that." Jean said, thinking about how nice it was to meet someone as new as her, and very sweet.

[Katy J. Salmalin]

"I think that would be a wonderful idea," said Katy, grinning. "A lot of my students are having trouble finding partners, pairing up you two will be a lot less hassle."
