Peter smiled when he relized that Marie was adjusting very well, she already started to make friends, and that put him at ease a little more. THen he replyed to Katy, "It has been hard at times, but you must continue to live." He said with a small smile.
"Marie, That is wonderful, And Jean it is very nice to meet you as well." He said to her. He noticed her hesitation when she said Ravenclaw, but would not bring anymore tragic topics up.

[Lizabeth Riddle]

"okay that cool" she said to richards reply and then Jack inderduced him self as her brother her eyes flew open she poored a glass for Magyn not even asking she knew she wanted some it was instinked it drew her right there as well any way and held it out to her if she didn't want it the more for her self but she had a bet against herself that she'd take it if not the more for her self in a pretty glass.

Kas got tired of standing there with Rachel, "I'm gonna go meet some people... I hope.." She said while leaving her date at the entrances. "Love ya, Rach" She called back, as she made her way through the dance hall, over to the refreshments.

[Jack P. Riddle]

Jack saw his sisters reaction. He gave her a look like I'm not going to deny it. "So how are you doing tonight Magyn?"

[Richard "Wolf" Canis]

Richard brought the meat up to his mouth when he remembered his manners. "Oh sorry, anyone want some?"

[Lizabeth Riddle]

Lizabeth side look and just smiled "no thanks Richard I'm fine" she said smiling back at Richard still holding the glass for Magyn

[Jack P. Riddle]

"I'm all set with my blood thanx. And we're mostly Vampires here."

[Sim Shiphter]

Sim turned to Aireona and said, "may i take this hand in another dance my dear?" Sim bowed over half way with his hand out waiting for Aireona's response.

Aireona laughed, "You know you are a bit odd" She smiled, "But sure." She took his hand and waved to the two siting at the table. Arila still drinking her drink and Raven seemingly sitting drinking one as well.
*Dancing*
The music was starting to pick up the pace and they moved around the dance floor gliding in the air, literally, there feet were not touching the floor anymore. They were a few inches off the floor but neither seemed to notice at the time. Aireona's eyes were a lovely Violet. It was her that was causing them to glide on the air but they did not know it at the time.

[shadow=red,left,450]Sim was dancing with Aireona still, and it seemed as if time had stoped or slowed to a near stop. He felt as if nothing mattered anymore, they were dancing and they were happy. Sim then looked over Aireonas sholder and noticed that they were serveral inches higher than all the others on the dance floor. this seemed a little odd to him, but when Sim looked at Aireona she smiled and her face seemed to be filled with so much delight and so full of harmony. her head was now resting on his chest, it seemed as if nothing would bother her, and that she was content. this made Sim feel very pleased that she was like this. He didnt want anything to harm her in any way right at this moment, nothing to change. "This has been the best night of my life, i hope the same is for you too Aireona" Sim said as he let his head rest on hers, resting on his chest.[/shadow]

Aireona felt comfortable had her mind was finally at ease. This release from the drama of the recent events was just what she needed.

"It is a wonderful release." She said to Sim.

Her eyes were closed and she had let her mind be free, for the first time she was not worrying about anything, not magic, Arila or tragic events. It was just simple bliss. She took a breath and breathed out a sigh of joy, and they floated even higher. They were moving in a wonderful pattern with the music.

Then Aireona opened her eyes to see that they were a foot off the floor.

"Oh.." She gasp and they dropped to the floor, luckily on their feet. She looked at Sim with a look of fear.

She was terrified looking at Sim with wide eyes, a vibrant purple. She started to back away shaking her head, why...Why...Magic...

[Sim Shiphter]

[glow=red,2,300]Sim rushed over to Aireona and held onto here to make sure that she didnt fall over, "Are you ok? here come on over to the table and sit down." He noticed that she was in a bit of a shock from the fact that she was using magic and didnt even know that she was using it. He came to realize that she didnt like to use her magic at all even for fun or pratical uses. Sim conjured a drink for her "here have a drink, its just some ice water, it will calm you down some and help with the shock" Sim was hopeing tha she would feel better, and that this didnt hurt her at all. that the last thing that he wanted[/glow]

[glow=purple,5,300]Aireona moved to the table with Sim, and took a seat, when he conjured a drink she looked at him with disgust, her mouth open and a look on either face was one of disbelief.
"No, I can get it myself." She breathed in, closed her eyes, and from the air water pouted from seemingly no where, into an invisible glass. She took another breath and opened her eyes, to see the glass finishing being poured.

No! she though, and knocked over the glass spilling the water on the table.

She ran over to the refreshment table with her hand over her face. I look so stupid ... I can't even control my powers ... it is too hard to prevent magic ... why won't it just stop ... She was thinking.

She did not like magic, not for anything other than the fear of evil things that magic has done, she had so much power that she did not even need to think to use it, this scared her immensely. she grabbed a cup and poured some pumpkin juice in it and took a sip.

I must look insane she though standing there alone.[/glow]

[shadow=green,left,300]Arila saw Aireona and Sim floating as they danced,
could you be any more obvious Arila thought then the suddenly feel to the floor.

The came over to the table and Aireona looked a bit off, she freaked out a bit when Sim offered her a drink, then she conjured one quite remarkably,

how did she do that... Arila though in spite, of how easy things came to Aireona, Don't get it wrong, Arila had it easy, but Aireona did things with out even thinking about it.

"What is her problem" She said to Sim when Aireona ran off, "Don't" She grabbed his arm as he was starting to get up, and then rubbed it, slowly and looked at him seductively.

"Don't you want to stay here with me, you do remember that you first had you eye on me." She said, trying to bring a bit of attention to that playful memory. She was not interested, but did feel like trying some of her 'old ways' in order to get attention, Arila was starving for some.[/shadow]

Kas picked up to glasses and filled them with the green punch. She ignored the people talking around her, she didn't want to get to involve with them. She turned back around, nearly running into someone, "Watch Where ye' going!" She shouted loudly, and quickly walked past the person. She got back to Rachel, safely not spilling the drinks. "This is sooo boring.." She said to Rachel, while handing her one of the cups. "Are you gonna stand here all night?!"

"Pshh..I just might. Maybe they should play some good music." Rachel replied, still staring out in the crowd and taking a sip of her drink.

"But I am getting front row seats of the drama in the bloody school. Not to mention people are floating.." Rach said as she tossed her hair back.

Kas Laughed, "Maybe you should show them, What real music is!" She grinned as she said this, knowing her friend might go do it.

She took a sip of her punch, "You and Your drama!" She leaned up against the door frame as she said this.

Rachel raised her eyebrow.

"Now now, if your suggesting I might go and knock the people of stage to go change the music to something worth dirty dancing to, you totally got me wrong. I only do those things for a price." Rach said with a smirk.

[Spyke O'Connery]

spyke rolled her as at kevin. 'yea dude, of course, there my ome town boys. but why sing that? i mean, we don't have everyone. lets just try and stick with something with acoustic and doet or trio singing, i'll fill in for something that won't seem Bi-normal. we've got enough mics. lets do this come on' she said beating the drums and walking over to the two picking up her acoustic.

Kas narrowed her eyebrows, as she thought of a price. She looked into her glass, moving it slightly side to side. "What do you want?" She finally said, when her mind failed to bargain right.

Kevin grinned at Spyke.

"Whoa wait a minute. Why be limited. WE have magic, remember?" he said, waving his wand and making a few instruments appear.

"All we have to do is wave my wand and it'll play any song we choose. Then all we have to do is play with them until the player can take over."

(OOC: OK, at this time I'm not going to wait for all the champions any longer. I'm going with Narcissa Malfoy's suggestion of just starting the ball. For any champions that are here and did post, you can post about having the first dance whenever you get on and we can just pretend it happened at the start of the ball because everyone is going crazy waiting. For the entertainment, feel free to start when you sign on as well - let's just get this thing rolling! I apologize for the delay.)

(you know, while you are here, Jill, this is going to be before my dance with Pearl... cuz I have been meaning to have the first dance after the Champions.)

As soon as the Champions got under way, George quickly got the beat, and was moving to it. He needed just one thing. So he turned to the Headmistress, she should be the next to join the dance.

"Jill, may I have the honor of a dance with the headmistress?" he said, grabbign her hand and kissing it.

Jill clapped as the four young champions finished their dance and was immediately asked to dance by Professor Sparewell. "Why, I'd be delighted!" She gracefully accepted his offer and they began to dance.

George escorted her to the floor and immediatly placed hands in her and on her waist, and began the glide around. It was fluid motion, not one hinderance, considering that he hadn't dance for a long time. As they weaved around the chapions and the incoming dancers, he smiled at Jill. He had never been this close to her, and now he was noticing details, like her eyes.

"Wow, I never noticed your eyes before, they way they sparkle, I daresay, really nice. I'll be honest, forgive me, I haven't dance in a while, and my last dance at Hogwarts was back in my 7th year, in '94. I admit not one of my best night, however."

[Sheena Ayala]

Sheena was sitting off to the side finally conjuring up some blood to drink although she made it look as though it was some sort of red punch. She didn't know very many people and had no date so she just sat drinking and refilling it when she finished each glass. Sheena watched the champions dance then everyone else started to dance as well. She just sat wishing she hadn't come. Since she wasn't having any fun at all.
