Branna laughed at Ian as he answered her questions and smiled fondly as she saw that Owen was checking if her friends had arrived, seen as how she couldn't see herself.

"Sorry Ian, I always get like this when I'm hyper...can't stop talking!" she laughed. She poked her tongue out playfully at Chris, who was laughing at her. Seeing that Owen was about to say something she began to ask "Is..." but got cut off as Josi arrived. She was right! The last of their party was here! "Hey Josi!" Branna exclaimed, enveloping the girl in a hug. "Don't worry, loads of people aren't here yet...thank you, petal!" she added at Josi's comment, laughing. She stepped back from her fellow Gryffindor and looked at her admiringly. "So do you, as always!"

Owen said something, and it took her a second to realise what it was. It was a very un-Owen like thing to say- not that he wouldn't say something nice, just that he generally wasn't that open or forward. "Do you think so?" she asked quietly, suddenly slightly shy for the first time in a long long time. Regaining her composure, she laughed. "Well thank you! And you guys are very dashing, of course!" Branna, being Branna, couldn't stay long without laughing!

When Branna reappeared, she had heard Ian explaining the situation to Chris, and now she gave her input. "Yup, that's it! We're here as a little quartet...all four of us as friends...so Owen is my date and Ian is Josi's officially...but I guess you could say Ian or Josi were my dates either!" she said, laughing.

Turning with that sparkle in her eyes, she poked Josi in the ribs. "Hey Josi! Let's get this first dance underway! I want to dance!" she laughed. "I wonder how we could get Colleen down here...is Morana here with her date yet?"

Pearl moved off to the side of the dance floor, sighing to herself. As invisible as ever. No one notices I'm here. Big surprise.

She got a drink and watched the others have fun. She suddenly wished she was in the court of her father, watching the glittering mass of noble Vampire relatives and friends and being asked to dance by all the single Vampire men that were not related to her... and once in a while, a fond uncle or two.

She came back from the memories and sighed. What I wouldn't give for something stronger. She shook her head and poured herself som more butterbeer.

Katy stopped her dancing as she noticed another Professor enter. Finally, someone to talk to! Katy walked over to where Pearl Dimache stood, and smiled. "Hey, Pearl! Nice to see you," she said cheerfully. "So did you manage to get a partner? I didn't But I'm alright with it, I suppose."

Pearl looked up and smiled. "Hi Katy! Nice to see you too!" She felt considerably better. "No I did not, I came fashionably "stag". Well, that makes two of us."

After the ball had gotten started, George excused himself for the other professors and the Headmistress, promising he'll be back. One of the teachers he had really gotten to know was there, and looked alone, except for the presence of Katy.

"Pearl, how good it is to see you this evening. You look stunning tonight." he said, shaking his head slightly at the snow that had fallen on him. He then reached over and brushed her shoulder as well.

"Well hello George!" Pearl beamed at him. "It is good to see you too! Thank you, you look handsome yourself." She glanced at the snow. "Oh... thank you, I didn't even realize any had fallen on me. I was commenting to the Headmisstress earlier this evening that the snow was a touch of brilliance. Would I be correct in assuming it was your idea?"

Ooc: It's all good I don't expect you to Rp well after we rushed you like that Its kind of our faults anyways! lol

Ic: Ian laughed heartily as Owen commented on how energetic Branna was, and told him, "They tried to put makeup on me once while eating chocolate: Trust me, that's one of the scariest sights you can see." Turning to Josi, he jokingly asked her, "Do you think that the other Champions will come soon? I want to see how well you dance."

George beamed back. "Why yes, yes it was. Thought it would give it a nice touch." He pulled her hand up to kiss it.

"Pearl, may I have the honor of a dance?" he asked, bowing.

(I'm gonna assume that the first dance is over...its gettig ridiculus)

Pearl's cheeks had a touch of pink to them as she curtsied to him. "I would be honored, George."

Ange entered the Dance Hall everyone was looking more beautiful then ever.

Ange felt nervous, her long blonde hair was out in light ringlets, her blue eyes wondered the dance Hall hoping that she would see her date. Ange had never had to dress up so much, hoping she would look okay for Alistair, walked around the dance Hall hoping to run into someone she new.

"Thanks you look brilliant,"Aries said hugging her sister. She let go and smiled at everyone else." So do you mind if I hang out with you guys? I don't have a date."

Katy smiled as George and Pearl went off to go dance. She sort of wished she had someone to dance with herself, but it didn't bother her too much. She could have a good time all by herself. Katy wandered over to a table by herself and sat down, conjuring a cup of coffee to drink. She stirred it slowly as she gazed around the Dance Hall, looking for someone to talk to. It wasn't like she had a busy schedule, she was here all night. She couldn't stir coffee forever, but for now it would have to do.

((ooc: come on guys, katy's lonely! she just needs someone to talk to..........it's not that hard..........come say hi........))

Josi grinned at Ian, "But I did! Those aliens are so hard to fight off..." her voiced trailed off, it was obvious she was joking, or at least she hoped so because she certainly wasn't aware of being abducted by aliens.

Josi turned to the boy who introduced himself as Chris and smiled at him as she shook his hand, "Nice meeting you, I'm Josi," she said with a nod, just in case he didn't know who she was. She looked at Chris once more once remembering that Colleen had a boyfriend named Chris who she hadn't met yet, but wanted to really badly, "Hey, Chris, I hope you don't mind me asking, but is Colleen your girlfriend?" The question was straight-forward enough, perhaps too much, Josi wondered if she should've asked, but this guy seemed like he wouldn't mind her up-front, straight-forward questions - that's just how she was sometimes.

Josi happily hugged her friend back, "Thanks, I'm going to die wearing a dress, but oh well, the night should be fun anywho," she said, she wasn't planning on letting the simple fact that she was wearing a dress ruin the night, that would just be pathetic.

Josi smiled as Owen, or who she assumed to be Owen, agreed with her about how Branna looked, that was cute of him. She looked first from her to him, wanting to see the exchange, it looked as if Branna was even a bit shocked. Ha ha, they should go out... I wonder if Branna has a boyfriend who doesn't go to this school... it wouldn't be a surprise, but if not... A slight smirk came across her face; Josi was quite the match-maker, she was always good at hooking people up, except for maybe herself - that was okay though, she was fine being single.

Josi laughed also, "Yeap, you all look so darn pretty!" she said in a very enthusiastic voice to go along with her 'pretty' comment as she agreed with Branna that the guys looked dashing.

Josi grinned at Owen when he introduced himself also, it appeared that it would be one fun night, "Awesome!" she exclaimed with a nod, then turning around to see if she could catch a glimpse of anyone else she knew.

As Branna poked her in the ribs Josi nodded, eyes wide, and grinning, "Yeah, I know! Where are we supposed to meet? When is this thing gonna get started? I don't know anything!" Josi said with a laugh. She was pretty nervous, and not too excited about this whole first dance thing, usually she didn't mind being in the 'spotlight' in things like dance offs, but that was fast dancing, not slow dancing. Once the first dance was over with the real fun would start, and she wouldn't mind the whole slow dancing thing that she knew she'd have to do because no one would be watching her.

She shook her head, "When I was looking for you guys I tried to keep an eye out for the other champions but I didn't see anyone..." Josi spoke as she looked around spotting Mai who she waved to, "Well Mai is here..." she added in. Continuing to look around she saw Sage who Klayton was with, and waved at them also, they were pretty close, so she called them over to join their group of people, "Sage, Klayton, get your butts over here!"

Josi turned to Ian after calling Sage and Klayton over, "I have no clue when it's gonna start, ha, you might not be too impressed with my slow dancing, but fast dancing..." She grinned, fast dancing was something Josi was good at, she wasn't too bad at slow dancing either, but she thought she was possibly due to the mere fact that she didn't enjoy it when everyone would be watching you.

Jack nibbled on doves earlobe a little and then kissed her on the cheek. "I wasn't even trying to scare you."

Dove smiled at him. "Well you did anyway." She put on arm around his shoulders,the other on her hip. "So have you been having a good time?"

"Not as good as I am now that I'm with you." He rapped his arms around her waist and held her tight.

Dove relaxed in his embrace, grinning from ear to ear. She noticed some of the teachers dancing, and some new people going over to see Kevin's relatives. She gazed around the Hall, looking for any sign of Angel. "I swear if that boy doesn't get here soon I'm gonna kill him."

"Erica so are the bestest friend ever" said ashlet whiling dancing

Jack stared into doves eyes again using his pwers. "I wish that you didn't have to die. I will be here forever, but you will die. I wish that you didn't have to." Jack kissed her gently on the lips.

Dove stiffened a bit as she looked back at him. "True," she said slowly. "I hadn't gotten around to thinking about that." She stared at the ground for a few long moments, Then her head snapped back up and she was looking back at Jack. She stood up on her toes (he's taller than her) and kissed his cheek. "Let's just concentrate on the time we have, then we can worry about when it's over."

The Professor of Magical Government, took the Flying teacher out on the floor, and immediatley got the song beat. He placed his hands in hers and on her waist, and once again, it was his 7th year at Hogwarts. They were gracefully taking up the dance floor, moving liek no other group. It was magical.

Jack smiled as he thought. 'You'll die soon yet then again live forever.' "Okay" He leaned over and kissed her long and hard.

Dove recieved his kiss openly. She couldn't believe she had found someone she could love so much. However.............

Had he brought up that subject on purpose? She didn't want to think about death. But now he'd brought it up........she couldn't stop thinking about it. She had one idea to make him happy...........but would it make her happy as well?

Peter had walked into Hogwarts for the first time. He looked around for his daughter, he just heard the horrid news of a murder, he did not know what he would do.
He was in drak wizard robes, elagant enough to be dress robes, but also simple for working robes as well. He looked tired, for all the crazyness that was happining. He noticed his daughter talking with another student. just let her be, for now she is making friends.
He noticed a women standing alone, and decided that was the safest place to be, he was a little unconfortable at this ball, just losing his wife tragicly and very recently. He almost did not know how to talk when he arived to were she was standing.
His head low, he said
"Hello, there. I am Peter." He said, looking scared and shy, but he was neither of them, but this was the first women he had spoken with since his wife...

Jack smiled and leaned forward and put his forehead against hers. "Aren't you suppose to be goin on soon?"

Dove kissed him quickly, and winked. "Yes, I forgot about that." Dove turned, and went back to Spyke. She tugged the microphone away and held it to her lips. "If I could have everyone's attention, The Razorblade Kiss will be going on in ten minutes. If I can get all the members up here, please!" She set the mic back, and stepped back towards Jack. She hugged him close, and whispered, "Aren't you going to wish me good luck?"

Katy looked up and saw a man standing next to her. "Oh, hello," she said cheerfully. "I'm Katy Salmalin, Professor here at Hogwarts. And who might you be?" Katy's smile spread across her face. Finally, some company!

Jack pulled her close and kissed her long and hard. Then he slowly released her and whispered "Good luck"

Dove kissed Jack back, then pushed him gently away. "Go on, socialize! I have to get ready anyways." Dove waved her wand, and her dress disappeared, replaced by tight jeans and a royal Ravenclaw-blue halter top. As the other players got to the stage, Dove switched into freak-out performance mode. "Has anyone seen Angelous?" she asked frantically.
