I think girls and boys should be allowed in the opposite gender's rooms but only for 'clean fun' like pranks and to find friends. As for people in other common rooms, also only for plot progression and/or with potions and special objects... As for students being where they don't have the powers to go, like the chamber of secrets, that's a no! Not unless it is approved first, meaning they have to ask the head and it's for a plot or something. Then, the password would need to be changed after the plot had expended it's use of the board.

Girls in boys dorm: Yes, text says its good
Boys in girls: No, text says no
Other common rooms: Nope, not even invited, the common room is a place where students get to chill with housemates, not the whole school. Go to the great hall to talk with people from other houses
Places they don't have powers for: A resounding NO!!!! I am a vampire, I can go into the Forbidden forest and kill a student that wanders there, and I did. The students should not be allowed to enter. The books say you can't and the rules say that I can kill you. So if you come in and I kill your butt, don't get angry with me, read the freaking disclaimer on the top of the thread you are in and realize that just by posting there you have given me permission. And I don't think the students that are half vampire/lycan/faerie should be able to protect other students in the forest. If you bring your human friends in, they could be killed, deal with it!!! I'm sorry if I sound bitter, but I am getting some major lecturing because I killed a student wandering in the FORBIDDEN FOREST!!! It's my right!!! DANG!!

girls in boys dorms; yes the books say it happens
boys in girls dorms; no the book "hogwarts; a history" states they arent allowed
people in other common rooms other then their own; i think you cant stop people from reading posts in there but i think if they post in an out-of-house common room they should be given detention or shoiuld have house points taken away
people in rooms for abilities that they dont have; i think its somewhat okay because after all ron entered the chamber of secrets and he wasnt a pareselmouth, so i think they should be allowed but only if they have a specific reason for being there and are with a parsel mouth, they cant just be mosying around.
