Mercy walked through the school, one box in her arm, several more floating behind her. Atleast...they appeared to be floating. Upon closer inspection, small feet were seen under the boxes belonging to several house elves she had enlisted the help of.
Pushing the door to the dance hall open with her foot, Mercy grunted slightly, shifting the box and stepping inside. She set the box on a table she had set up a few days previously, stretching her back and watching the house elves set the remaining boxes under the table.
Each box had different items in it and each box was labled accordingly. Streamers. Balloons, Confetti. Dishes. Utensils. Serving Containers. Food.
She hoped her students came prepared and came soon.

"Hi Professor!" Kelsey said, walking into the Great Hall. She smiled down at the house elves who helped Professor Rosenburg carry her things. She looked down at her pictures. She brought two. One of her pictures was of a black and white photo and a bright red rose in the center. She had brought this one because she loved the contrast the rose brough to the pictures. The second photograph was a picture of rose petals on the ground at a wedding. Kelsey thought that this was one of the most beautiful photographs ever taken.
She looked up and smiled at Professor Rosenburg. "What can I help with?" she asked.

Mercy turned around as she looked up from the box of utensils she was unpacking. "Hello Miss Weasley! How are you this afternoon?" She asked.
"So far, I think I just want to wait til the other students get here." She looked at the photographs Kelsey was holding and smiling, an idea forming in her head. What do you think we ought to do with those photos, Kelsy? I've an idea but I want to hear what you think would work best."

Azlen walked towards the dance hall, humming an old love song to herself. She had 2 long braided pig tails swinging with her motion, and her pleated red skirt swishing with every step. She walked into the hall to find Prof. Rosenburg and another girl who she thought was a Gryffindor. She waved hello to them and then again to all the house elves that were standing near a bunch of boxes. The two girls seemed to be talking so Azlen decided to stand to the side until they were done. She may be loud a lot of the time, but she knew enough manners not to interupt conversations.

scarlet had been haunting the halls as usual when she saw a flash of red hair "AZLEN!" she shouted, but apprearently not loud enough, for azlen continued to walk and entered the dance hall. Scarlet followed her, intruiged, for she had never ventured tto this part of the castle. Upon entrance she saw a rather odd sight… house elves. She had never seen one before, though she had heard rumours of them about the castle. In awe, scarlet entured further into the hall and found them to be decorating it for valentines day. “hey azlen!” she said enthusiastically before taking the other to women enraptured by their conversation “hello, im scarlet…do you need any help?”

"Oh! I was thinking about using a few spells I invented to create large continuous reblooming roses on vines and enlarge them so the rose itself is about 4 feet in diameter. Of course using red, pink and white roses. Then I was also thinking about scattering rose petals throughout the dance floor and enlarging some of them, and using a spell to keep them upright, and use them as chairs." she explained. Kelsey then saw Azlen and Scarlet Black walk in so she waved and smiled at them.

Mercy thought for a moment, tapping her wand against her leg. "Well, Kelsey. I don't know how guys would take it sitting in a rose petal. Some of the guys here are a bit..." She couldn't think of the word. "How about this?" She tapped the black and white photo and muttered a quick spell. Pointing her wand at two opposite corners of the room, she repeated the spell. Each time she did it, a large tapestry sized version of the photos appeared. The rose inside was moving, opening and closing. She tapped the second picture and pointed her wand skyward. A steady layer of rosepetals seemed to eminate from the ceiling, dissapearing before they touched their heads.
She also pointed at the floor and with a wave of her wand, rose petals of different colors appeared on the floor. Mercy tried to step on some yellow ones and, as though there was a gentle breeze on the floor, the petals moved.
"They'll all do that so they don't get crushed and ground into the floor," she said, yawning slightly.

Mercy turned towards the girl, smiling as she did so. "Hi! Mercy Rosenburg. Magical housekeeping professor." SHe smiled more as the girl asked what she could do to help and pointed to a box marked streamers. Inside were pinl, pale lavendar, white and red streamers.
"See what you can get that to do?"

Billy rushed into the Dance Hall and saw that people started to decorate the room for the Valentine's Day Dance. He scanned the room for the teacher with his blue eyes and finally saw her. Before he could talk to her though, another student came and asked what to do. After she was done, Billy replied to the professor in a apologetic voice. " Sorry, I'm late, Professor Rosenberg. Is there anything I can do to help? ".

"Alright everyone if I could have your attention!" She called from the middle of the room. "For those of you who are in my class, I need you to conjure snacks. If you need help, teach another one of the students the food conjuring spell! Please work quickly! There is a large punch bowl that I've put a spell on so the punch wouldn't run out! I've done the same thing with several serving trays! Put a tablecloth on the table before setting the food up!" She watched as her class started working.
"As for everyone else, you guys will have to talk about the decorations. I've done a little," she said, indicating the large black and white photograps, a large red rose opening and closing slowly in the middle. She also pointed to the rose petals on the ground she'd enchanted to move so they wouldn't get stepped on and the rose petals floating around the air gently.
"Have fun! IF you need my help I'll be helping my class with food."

Billy went over to the Snack and Refreshment table. He set a white table cloth on it and started with the food. " Noe what should there be here.....ah. Chocolates. Perfect for a dance ". Luckily, he brought a picture of chocolate. It was a picture of Hershey Chocolate Kisses. He pointed his wand at the picture and said, " Brevis nutrimens ". Didn't work. His voice was not very strong and confident. The reason was because he slept a little late.
He tried a second time and it worked. Soon, there was a plate full of Hershey's Chocolate Kisses all set in a circle form on the plate.

Dove rushed into the Hall, panting slightly, and out of breath. She had run here all the way from the Seventh floor, having been delayed in setting out.
Dove hardly noticed the decorations around the hall, but pulled her own part. In her mind, she was thinking steadily. She had just heard the professor mention that there was a spell on the punch bowl to keep it from running out, but what was there to run out? Nothing, so far.
Dove walked over to the punch bowl, and muttered, "Brevis Nutrimens," while pointing her wand at it. In her head, she called forth an image of the mixture in a Shirley Temple drink: grenadine and Sprite.
As the punch appeared in the bowl, Dove added a little something. She poured in a few drips of a clear potion, and it hardened into ice. The ide, however, was in little pieces, and each piece was shaped like a tiny mouse. The mice even squeaked! And they were very adorable.
Satisfied with her work, Dove stepped back. She noticed that the room was lacking something, to give it the last little romantic touch. Realizing what they were missing, Dove pointed her wand up at the ceiling. "Conjourus Crystalia!" In the very center of the room's domed ceiling appeared a large crystal chandelier, revolving slightly to give it a beauteous effect.
Dove smiled up at it, then, waving to the professor, ran out of the hall to get her dress for the dance.

''Alright then. BREVIS NUTRIMENS!'' Kelsey yelled. On each of the tables appeared scattered and assorted chocolates. She even made Honeydukes' Chocolate Bars on each table, not to mention the classic wizarding candies from Honeydukes. '' Couple of Snickers for the depressed, couple of Three Musketeers, Milky Ways, and tons of my favorites, Kit Kats and M&Ms." She muttered while whipping up all these items. She took a moment to realize that she wouldn't be coming. "Pity." she said. She then cast a spell on the candies and mince pies she had just produced. THis spell was to keep food out of teeth. That problem worried a lot of people. Kelsey then sat down at the nearest chair to take a rest; she was still sick after all, and had a lack of energy.
