Professor Sparewell oped the doors to his classrom manually, as he was too tired to think of the spell. The events of the past few months were beginign to wear him down, and it was showing, as was the lack of sleep. With a yawn, he just allowed a little scroll at the top of the chalk board. Welcome, class. Today's topic: Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Melinda hadnt been able to attend any of the other Magical Government classes, but she was going to now. This was probably her favorite subject, since her career goal was in the Ministry. So the best class to take would be one focused on the Ministry. The girl had gotten up that morning and made sure her robes were neat as was her hair. Normally, her face would be happy if not for the more recent events, but instead of the usual sorrow etched in the lines of her skin, there was blankness with a bit of eagerness. She had been awaiting this class for quite a while, and now was finally the day. The night before she had made sure her bag was packed with parchment and quills, so she was ready when it was time to go.
Entering the classroom, there was a rare small smile on her face. She attended the Junior Ministry Club, and so this would just be more information to aide her. Looking at the Professor she nodded and gave another small smile. Melinda hadnt met Professor Sparewell in class yet, but she had a lot of other places, and most of them had been painful on her part, and possibly on his too. Now it was time to learn though, and the girl was quite ready to. There was a lot she knew about the Ministry, but there was also a lot she could stand to learn. He had said before that he could tell them anything about the Ministry, having been a part of it, well she couldnt wait for him to share that expertise.
The 'Puff took a seat in the class, sweeping the bottom of her black robes underneath her so she didnt sit on them or step on them wrong. Tucking a loose strand of brown hair behind her ear, she dove her hand into the schoolbag and brought out a quill and parchment. At that time she brought her eyes up to that parchment to read what George had put there. It made her shed another small smile and go a tad pale at the same time before regaining balance. Well this should be interesting...she thought, writing down the title on the parchment she held. The girl knew plenty about the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, this wouldnt be too hard for her. At least, hopefully it wouldnt be too hard. Now all there was to do was to wait for more students to show up so class could begin.
OOC: Im on the sign up sheet but not the class list ^_^ So I assume its ok to post

Chris stifled a yawn with one hand as he walked along a corridor on the third floor of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The other hand was rifling in the book bag that was slung over his shoulder. The bag itself was a curious mix of very organised folders and absolute disorganisation in the form of random scraps of parchment. Chris was the type to file everything in a practical and organised system, but until he got around to that, his notes tended to fly around loose for a while and often get crumpled. After a moment, he found what he was looking for. From between two folders the boy extracted a worn piece of parchment, clearly an invaluable resource for something or other because the creases on it showed that it was consulted a lot.
Still yawning a bit, Chris held the parchment up to read it. He’d just been stopped by a younger student who needed help with something and had noticed Chris’s badge. Although Chris was happy to help and, indeed, maintained an interested attitude throughout the course of the discussion, the problem could not have been a more trivial or boring one. On top of that distraction, there was the added fact that Chris had simply not been attending classes lately. With Charlie’s recovery from the kidnapping incident, Chris had been spending his time in the Hospital Wing. Now that he had to go back to the routine of attending classes, Chris had been out of that cycle for long enough for him to need to consult his printed schedule again. He no longer knew it off by heart, although that would surely come back soon.
What was next then? Where was he due now? Blue eyes scanned the time column and then slid over to the subject scheduled in for that period. He broke into a slight smile as he read the words “Magical Government”. That wasn’t too bad at all then! Chris liked that class- it was important to him because he hoped to go into something like the Liaison Office in the Ministry, he liked the Professor a lot, and of course, it would be a chance to see Melinda. What was not to like? Taking a right turn and running up a flight of stairs, Chris arrived at the fourth floor classroom moments later. Walking in and smiling at Sparewell, he took a side beside Melinda, greeting her with a smile and reaching over to squeeze her hand briefly and subtly before getting ready for class by taking out everything he needed. Then he sat back in his chair, glad that settling back in to classes and such wasn’t going too badly.
