*Claire had been listening to the whole thing across the hall, and couldn't hold it in anymore. She walked over to the group and let it out.*

[glow=pink,2,300]O for the love of God, would you just stop Sam? Honestly, you're acting like a 5 year old! What good did it do to insult Gem? [/glow]

*She addressed Sam first. She then turned to Leki, and spoke to him.*

[glow=pink,2,300]And Leki, what good came from hitting Sam? You've lost our house points, that's what good came from it! Hitting people in the real world will get you worse than that, and it'd do you well to remember![/glow]

*She frowned at Gem. Her offense had been possibly the worst. She spoke quietly to her and with more saddness than anything.*

[glow=pink,2,300]And Gem, why would you call your friend ugly? That's terrible, she's your friend![/glow]

*She looked at all three of them now.*

[glow=pink,2,300]All of you need to grow up and learn to deal with your problems the right way, this whole thing is just ridiculous, don't you see that?[/glow]

*It was a ritorical question, of course, so she looked at Kevin and sent a thought.*

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have butted in like that, but honestly, not at the Yule Ball.

Kevin shook his head a tthe boy and turned to the Professor.

"I'm sorry about this, Professor, I honestly didn't think it would blow out of proportion like that."

Gem glared at her aunt angrily. "This is why I was angry when I found out you were teaching here!" she spat at Amy. "Now you're going to ruin my life more often than you usually have time for!"

She rushed out of the ball in a huff, dragging Leki behind her.

"It's quite alright Kevin. I'm used to my niece acting like this. I've tried to put away with it after raising her for 6 years but she gets the stubborness from my sister," Amy laughed. "But, I believe I am to blame for this evening's outburst. I just drop in on her tonight without warning her ahead of time that I've been made a teacher. The surprise must have bothered her. Before she left for school in September, we had a fight so seeing me again without that resolution must have affected her thinking. I think having her leave the ball to cool off for the rest of the night should help. She can be so childish sometimes."

[Ian Blackthorne]

Ian nodded his head slowly as Kevin had finally cleared everything up, and felt content to know that it was finally all over: He got a bit edgy whenever people fighted: It just wasn't right. Smiling as Kevin congradulated him, he said, "Thanks a lot. Congrads to you too: It takes a lot of leadership to be Head Boy."

Listening to Claire's outburst, he smiled slightly as he walked over to her and said, "Don't worry about it. Some things need to be said, and that was one of them." Remembering their conversation beforehand, he smiled as he recognized the name of the boy Claire was going to be dancing with, and said, "That's great! I just hope Josi comes soon...."

A well dressed Tom wareing black leather shoes and black suite with a white shirt and black tie aproched Aqua and smiled. He bowed to her and kissed her hand gentally. "May I have this dance?" "You look..... just amazing I just can't think of any other way to say it, simply amazing". He looped his arm to bring her to the dance floor. "This way please".

Amy turned to the girl that told Gem, Sammy, and Leki off.

"Claire is it? Professor Wolfe-Martinez." She held out her hand for Claire to take. "You can call me Prof. Wolfe or Prof. Martinez, whichever one is good for you. So, been thinking about taking Muggle Studies?" Amy smiled sweetly at the girl.

*Claire smiled and blushed. *

*She said quietly as he laughed slightly at her little speech.*

*Ben still stood with the group of Ravenclaws where Claire had been before her little speech. She grabbed Ian's arm and guided him towards the group. As they walked across the Hall, Claire talked to Ian.*

[glow=pink,2,300]Don't worry, Josi will show soon. You know girls, they take hours to get ready! I had to start at 1 in the afternoon to be ready on time![/glow]

*She laughed and then they reached the group.*

*Claire smiled as Professor Wolfe held out her hand and introduced herself. Claire took it and gently shook it.*

Nice to meet you Professor, and yes, I'm Claire, Claire DeLour. I hadn't really given any thought to taking Muggle Studies, could you tell me about the class?

"Well, what I'm hoping to get out of it is pure-blood understanding of Muggles and how they live. Most of those in the wizarding community are ignorant to most of the stuff that deals with Muggle life. I recommend that all pure-bloods take it. Most of the time it is very important for us to understand Muggles and how they live without magic."

[Claire DeLour]

*Claire smiled. Nobody knew it, but Claire herself was a pureblood. She hated telling people though because of the reputation it had. Claire could care less about who married who, as long as they were in love.*

I think that sounds like a perfectly wonderful class, I'm going to join! Thanks for telling me about it Professor Wolfe!

*She smiled at the Professor, happy to have taken on a new class as most of her classes didn't seem to meet all that often.*

OoC: No really, it's true, there are only a few classes on there that have met recently, it's pretty sad!

"Really?! You think my class sounds interesting? Wow, I'm flattered! Great! I'm sure I'll love having you in my class!" Amy was excited that she just met a new student.

((ooc: yeah this class will meet more often then the others. i plan on handling it a lot differently than everyone else seeing as i'm on the internet so much. as soon as i get more students and the holidays are over i'm gonna start writing up the rules and starting classes))

*She smiled brightly at her newest professor.*

"Thank you Claire," Amy smiled brightly at the girl. "Those two boys fighting tonight will be in the class also, I hope you don't mind. I'm sure I can get them all to make up. Sammy and Gem have been best friends since they were 10. It breaks my heart to see them hurting each other like that."

[Alistair Marsh]

Alistair was dressed in a hand tailored double breasted suit jacket and slacks. His tie and his suit were both charcol grey, it fit him pretty well and he was comfortable. He never really dressed up much and he hated his church clothes, but these clothes felt good. His shoes were polished and black, and they were so shiny they were like mirrors.

He spent all morning ironing the wrinkles out of his clothes. He wanted to look sharp for Angelina. He had manually put creases into his slacks and if wasn't for his mothers constant nagging about keeping a neat appearance he wouldn't have this skill.

He breathed deeply and stepped into the dance hall. The first person he saw was claire. He smiled and walked over to her. "Hey claire. You look very pretty." Alistair blushed and removed his glasses. He wiped them with a white handkercheif tucked into the front pocket of his suit jacket. He placed them back on his nose and smiled. "Is it hot in here?" He tugged at the collar of his white undershirt unaware that he was blushing bright red.

*She smiled mischievously.*

*She giggled.*

[glow=pink,2,300]That really is terrible though that because of a stupid fight they now hate each other. I'm sure they'll make up though, it would be a shame if they didn't.[/glow]

*Someone approached Claire and she turned around to see Alistair.*

[glow=pink,2,300]Hey Alistair, thanks. You look very nice in your suit![/glow]

*She noticed that the boy looked nervous, and his face was turning bright red.*

[glow=pink,2,300]Are you ok? I don't think it's very hot, but I'm not in a suit either. Maybe you should have some cool water.[/glow]

*She said quietly, as not to bring attention to him.*

Alistair hunched his shoulders and looked down at his suit. "Aww, thanks claire. It was all I could afford." He frowned and looked embarrassed

He looked back up at her and blinked twice and he scratched his head confused. "I don't know. I wasn't hot before I walked in here. " His face went blank and he looked like he was trying to remember something. "You know, I don't think I had any liquids today. Maybe I'm getting dehydrated." He rubbed his dry lips with his fingers. "I could use a drink of water." He turned and walked over the the refreshment table and poured himself a goblet of ice water and drank it down quickly.

*She smiled encouragingly at him.*

*Of course Alistair was already on his way, where he drank an entire goblet full of ice water and then returned.*

Jaden finally made his way to the event everyone was dying to get to.. the yule ball! He walked in looking as smooth as he could while walking with his hands in his pocket looking for Zara. the place was packed that he couldnt tell if she was there or not. A few minutes after getting there he saw her. he walked over to her and smirked. "hey there, sorry im late, would you believe the traffic i was stuck in?!" he said jokingly.

Jack whispered to his sister. "Whats wrong? You helped me now it's my turn to help you. You don't even have to tell me whats up just tell me what you want me to do."

she called out annoyed and shaking her head playing her bass to grab they're attention.

[Narcissa Malfoy]

Narcissa entered the Great Hall a little late. She was wearing a beautiful green dress. As she entered, she noticed most of the student body were there. All those girls dressed beautifuly. She noticed Sage (Malfoy) was dressed very differently from the other girls. She liked the outfit however, it reflected her personality.

Narcissa then noticed Fenrir Greyback near the refreshments table.
"Hello Fenrir! How are enjoying the ball? I believe you are here on business? I wish you good luck on that." she said. She hoped the champions would get there soon so she would dance. Narcissa had always liked to dance. She and Lucius were great dance partners. She missed him.

Looking around, she noticed Jack Pitch.
"Hmm, so the kid that wants to rule the world is here eh Fenrir?"she said.

jordan walked into the Yule Ball breathing hard. he got fixed up and went in. "Magyn? Where are you?"

[Dovesary Aemeson]

Dove saw Kevin and a few other kids as they sorted out whatever was happening between them. A profesor came over after a few minutes. About time, thought Dove. I could hear them across the Hall! She saw something strange happening to Kevin, which sent her over to him in a splitsecond. She put her hand on his shoulder. "Kevin, calm down," she said quietly, but urgently. "You're about to go full-phoenix on us. You've got to control it!" Then she tugged him back over to where Spyke was, as soon as he was finished. "I think if we don't back over there, Spyke's gonna flip out."

[Katy J. Salmalin]

Katy was walking around the Dance Hall and having a good time, when she noticed her fellow, Professor Kuraimono of Dueling Techniques and Auror Training, standing against the wall. Alone. Katy did not like for anyone to be unhappy at a Christmas Ball, so she made a beeline straight for him. "Why hello Professor Kuraimono! You certainly do look nice tonight." She gave him a playful smile. "Are you waiting for someone, or did you just randomly feel like the wall would collapse without your support?" Katy laughed, and it sounded cool and smooth, like melting ice. "Come join in the festivities, it's really quite enjoyable!"

[Blaze Oceana]

Blaze laughed aloud from her spot next to Lizabeth and Richard as all the drama and fighting broke out. A slow smile spread across her face.

"Well at least theres some decent entertainment" she joked, alluding to the fact that she didnt expect the band to be any good. "I suppose I should intervene as I'm a prefect and all," she said, but her feet remained firmly planted in their spot while she took another sip of her drink, then finally gave in and downed the entire goblet, setting it down with a clinck! on the table as she wandered off to go help.

"Kevin," she addressed the new head boy, "May I steal Sam away from you for a moment. I am prefect and he is in my house after all. I feel as if we need a word". While she awaited his answer, she nodded her head at Claire who was talking to the hufflepuff boy who had tried to hurt Damon in the last transfiguration class.

" Ello cousin" she said in warm greeting, but changed her tone as Alistair came back to Claire after finishing hs drink, "Surely you arent here with him?" she accused

[Lizabeth Riddle]

Lizabeth was about to tell Richard in the forest later but got cut off by screaming people and some got punched and richard excused him self to go help and a girl yelled at him so he came back and blaze kicked being the Slythering Prefect then Jack whispered in her ear she turned to him and whispered back "not right now" she finaly looked back to Richard "well if your not busy after the Yule ball you said you'd go hunting I'll tell you then or I'll write you an owl because I'm gone tomorrow to Magyn's house" she said quickly having time she then spotted jordan "Magyn Jordan's here" she she said nudging her with her elbow and pointing at him.
